Real Chemistry Deepens German Market Expertise with Appointment of Dirk Poschenrieder as Managing Director, Germany

Senior hire strengthens Real Chemistry’s ability to help healthcare clients connect global strategy to nuanced needs for in-market execution
LONDON, August 25, 2006 — Real Chemistry, a global leader in AI- and insights-driven healthcare communications, has announced the appointment of Dirk Poschenrieder as Managing Director, Germany, strengthening the company’s ability to support healthcare clients in one of Europe’s most important and nuanced life sciences markets.
The appointment reflects Real Chemistry’s continued investment in helping clients navigate the distinct launch, reimbursement, regulatory and stakeholder dynamics of the German healthcare landscape.
“As Europe’s largest pharmaceutical market, Germany plays a critical role in the success of our clients’ regional and global strategies,” said Suzanne Jacobs, Head of International Markets at Real Chemistry. “Our clients need partners with integrated global capabilities who understand the nuances of the local market and can connect those insights across regions for improved outcomes. Dirk brings exactly that combination of strategic leadership, commercial expertise and deep understanding of the German healthcare landscape.”
In his new role, Poschenrieder will lead Real Chemistry’s growth and client delivery in Germany, partnering with clients to ensure business, communications and engagement strategies are grounded in local expertise while leveraging connections to Real Chemistry’s global network and integrated capabilities. Poschenrieder brings 25 years’ experience across healthcare marketing, communications and business development. He joins Real Chemistry after serving as Managing Director of Publicis Health Germany. His experience also includes eight years as Managing Director at Havas Health Network in Germany and client-side roles at Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine, Sony and Deutsche Post DHL.
“What attracted me to Real Chemistry is the company’s uniquely integrated approach to solving client challenges,” said Dirk Poschenrieder, Managing Director, Germany at Real Chemistry. “In today’s environment, healthcare and life sciences organizations need partners who can bring together the right expertise across communications and marketing, insights and analytics, and technology and AI to address increasingly complex business needs. Real Chemistry’s model enables exceptional teams to organize themselves around client challenges, instead of operational silos, and I’m excited to work alongside our talented colleagues to help clients succeed in Germany and across Europe.”
Poschenrieder’s appointment marks the latest step in Real Chemistry’s global growth strategy, following the company’s recent acquisition of Singapore-based Spurwing Communications, establishing its first Asia Pacific strategic hub.
