Covidball
In late 2023, most people were ‘over’ COVID-19, including doctors, who were somewhat immune to messaging around it. But 1.2 million vulnerable people were still shielding from COVID-19, among them transplant patients, cancer patients and the immunocompromised. Enter a hard hitting reminder of its constant threat.

We crafted an animated soundscape where Covid-19 rolls on and on, set inside a genuine 1960s pinball machine to ensure the film felt as real as the continued threat of Covid-19.
The film mixed CGI animation with live action to create a unique environment. The steel ball, filmed for real, symbolized the real threat of COVID-19. And real hospital sounds combing with real sounds recorded from original pinball machines became the soundscape for the film, making viewers feel like they are actually inside.
